前视双基地SAR（Bistatic Forward-looking SAR)(BFSAR)是对双基地工作模式的一种拓展，能对飞行路线正前方区域进行较高分辨率成像，能消除侧视模式中存在的固有成像盲区，是传统侧视模式的重要补充，具有自身不可替代的优越性。因此对于前视双基地SAR的深入研究具有相当的价值。
