CAN最初是由德国的BOSCH公司为汽车监测、控制系统而设计的。现代汽车越来越多地采用电子装置控制，如发动机的定时、注油控制，加速、刹车控制(ASC)及复杂的抗锁定刹车系统(ABS)等。由于这些控制需检测及交换大量数据，采用硬接信号线的方式不但烦琐、昂贵，而且难以解决问题，采用CAN总线上述问题便得到很好地解决。

"这篇文章的英文原版我是在www.FreeRTOS.net上下载得到的。其实我并没有决定
是否要在系统中使用FreeRTOS，虽然我想要的也仅仅是一个实时内核，当然更重要的
是免费。之所以翻译这篇文章倒不是因为FreeRTOS有多么优秀，完全是因为这篇文章
还不算太长。而且FreeRTOS.net仿佛致力于这个内核在国内的推广，也做了不少中文
化的工作。所以我是打算利用工作之余，边看边译，到读完这篇文档，也就有个中文版
了。如果FreeRTOS.net不弃的话，我倒是情愿放到这个网站上与大家共享。
另外，我本人很懒，没有翻译附录，而且译完正文后也没有做过任何检查。所以如
果有任何问题，请不要骂我。

在室內環境中可結合式子母機器人系統，子機為一多功能平台，可放置各種家庭所需之設備，而母機為一輪式機器人，經由兩者的結合，可提供高機動性與多功能的服務。在結合的技術面，傳統的吸塵器機器人與充電站之間的導航系統使用紅外線感測作為依據，當兩者間有障礙物阻擋時，紅外線感測器導航系統將會失效。因此本系統利用聲源方向做為機器人決定移動方向的依據，由於聲波傳遞的特性，即使在有障礙物的情況下，依然可以有效地偵測。此外，在移動的過程中，本系統利用光流偵測法判斷是否遭遇障礙物或是利用Support Vector Machine分類判斷與聲源之間為是否有障礙物的阻隔；若發現前方有障礙物，則啟動避障策略，用有效的方式繼續往目標移動。最後，當母機接近子機時，可根據多種紅外線感測器資訊進行子母機器人的結合，結合成功後，母機將可搭載子機成為一自由行動之機器人。
